Canes, Lady Generals win head-to-head track and field meet

The track and field teams from Cartersville and Heritage competed Tuesday afternoon at Cartersville High School with the Canes winning 284-221 and the Heritage-Catoosa girls defeating the Lady Canes, 252-213.

In the boys' meet, the Canes won the sprints, distance runs, throws, and jumps. The Generals outscored the Cartersville boys in the hurdles and relays. The Lady Canes outscored the Lady Generals in the distance runs, throws, and jumps.
