Colonels soccer blanks Pickens, 5-0

The Cass boys soccer team had five different players score goals Tuesday night as the Colonels beat Pickens in a non-region match at Doug Cochran Stadium, 5-0.

Andrew Palma put Cass ahead 1-0 with the only goal of the first half in the 27th minute.

Moises Martinez, Jorge Cabanas, Mayron Medina, and Carlos Perez each added a second half goal for the Colonels.

Brandon Romero led the Cass defense as Cass finished with its fourth clean sheet of the season.

Alex Martinez assisted on the Medina goal and Palma was credited with an assist on the Perez tally. The other goals were unassisted.

Cass (5-2-1, 1-1 in sub-region 7-AAAAA-A) returns to region play Friday entertaining Creekview in a 7pm kickoff.
