Lady Tigers keep rolling along, now 8-0

The Adairsville girls soccer team scored twice in the second half Thursday night to defeat visiting Coahulla Creek, 2-0, and remain undefeated on the year.

Emily Collum scored in the 46th minute and Kaitlyn Webster in the 71st minute for the two Lady Tigers’ tallies. Haley Pittman assisted on the second goal.

Havyn Isaac recorded six saves at goalkeeper for Adairsville to earn the victory in net.

The coaching staff praised the defensive efforts of Mac Stevenson, Victoria Davis, Molly Carter, Ansley Leker, Emily Emmons, and Macy Hufstetler.

The Lady Tigers improved to 8-0 with the win and 2-0 in Region 6-AAA. The Lady Colts slipped to 3-2.

Adairsville plays Murray County next Thursday.
