Cass soccer teams fall to Sequoyah

The Cass girls soccer team lost to Sequoyah Friday night, 6-0.

The Lady Chiefs led 5-0 at the intermission scoring a goal in the opening three minutes, three more in a four minute span of the opening half, and another before the break. The final Sequoyah goal came in the 79th minute.

The Cass girls’ season record falls to 2-6-1 overall, 0-3 in sub-region 7-AAAAA-A.

The Lady Colonels entertain Pickens Tuesday (Mar 15, 5:30pm) and host Creekview Friday (Mar 18, 6pm).

The Cass boys soccer team lost to Sequoyah Friday night, 2-0.

Both of the Chiefs’ goals were scored on penalty kicks. The first was in the 76th minute and the second at the 79th minute.

The Colonels are 4-2-1 overall and 1-1 in sub-region 7-AAAAA-A.
