Lady Canes shutout Cass, Woodland girls fall to Allatoona

Cartersville girls soccer defeated Cass 5-0 Friday night. The Lady Canes improved to 2-1 on the season. Cass falls to 2-2-1. Marissa Mowry and Paxton Thompson each scored two goals for Cartersville. Chloe Davis also added a goal for the Lady Canes. Cartersville led 1-0 at the intermission.

Woodland girls soccer lost to Allatoona Friday night, 4-1. Kerri Cagle scored the Woodland goal with approximately 28 minutes remaining in the contest. With the loss, the Lady Cats’ record slips to 1-3. The Lady Buccaneers are now also 1-3 on the season.
