BCRD 10U Bartow Blue wins GRPA District 5 boys basketball championship

The Bartow County Recreation Department’s Bartow Blue 10U boys all-star basketball team won the Georgia Parks and Recreation Association District 5 championship Thursday night by defeating South Cobb #1, 44-36.

Kymoni Pullum and Ramarion Pace led Bartow Blue with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Jakaden Barkley scored eight points, followed by four by Jayden Foster and three each by Zantivian Brown and Nic Kennedy.

Bartow Blue 10U will not advance to the GRPA State Tournament to be hald at Spalding County’s Taylor Street Gym March 4 and 5.

Bartow will play in one pool game Friday against the winner of Spalding County and the District 6 champion. On Saturday (March 5), the tournament moves to single elimination play with the title game scheduled for 4:15pm.
