Lady Tigers, Lady Cats earn soccer victories Friday

After opening the 2016 campaign with losses at East Paulding and Paulding County, the Woodland Lady Cats picked up a win at North Springs Friday, 4-1.
Lyrica Miron, Keri Cagle, Kaitlin Winnenberg, and Lindsay Scifers scored one goal each for Woodland (1-2).
North Springs slipped to 0-3 with the loss.
The Lady Cats are scheduled to host Cartersville Tuesday (Feb. 23) and Allatoona next Friday (Feb. 26).
ADAIRSVILLE 3, BREMEN 2 ADAIRSVILLE 10, HARALSON CO. 0
The Adairsville Lady Tigers improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 3-2 win a Bremen Friday night following a shutout of Haralson County Thursday night at home, 10-0.
Against Haralson County, Gillian Johnson, Lauren Stephenson (2), Chloe Cochran, Hannah Worley, Aimee Pacheco, Haley Pittman, Katie Lawhorn, and Molly Carter scored goals for the Lady Tigers.
Havyn Isaac and Emily Collum split time in net for the shutout.
Gillian Johnson scored the first and last goals for Adairsville in their win over Bremen. Haley Pittman scored the second goal and assisted on the game winner.
Adairsville is scheduled to play at Armuchee Tuesday (Feb. 23) and will host Trion on Thursday (Feb. 25).
