Tigers, Lady Tigers add wins at Mountain Top Tourney

ADAIRSVILLE BOYS 54, GILMER 43

The Adairsville Tigers defeated Gilmer 54-43 Monday night at the Fannin County Mountain Top Tournament in Blue Ridge.

Adairsville trailed 25-17 at halftime, but rallied for the comeback victory by outscoring the Bobcats 22-6 in the third quarter.

Ronald Hardin scored 19 points and Cole Hewitt 10 to lead the Tigers. Hunter Hice scored seven, James Sims and Cody Henderson tallied five, Juan Perez scored five, and Ethan Belcher added two for Adairsville.

Gilmer was led by J.T. Bosley with 14 points and Riley Hice with 13.

In Saturday’s opening round, Adairsville lost to Mount Paran, 50-28. Adairsville (2-7) closes out the Fannin Tournament with a consolation game Tuesday against Hiwassee Dam (NC) and will host Woodland December 29.

ADAIRSVILLE GIRLS 59, FELLOWSHIP CHRISTIAN 50

The Lady Tigers improved their season record to 2-9 with a nine-point victory over Fellowship Christian Monday at the Fannin County Mountain Top Tournament in Blue Ridge. No other details were provided. Check back soon for an update.
