Adairsville swim team defeats Cass in dual meet
The Adairsville swim team defeated Cass in a dual meet Tuesday night. Adairsville's Rylee Moss has now qualified for the state meet in 5 of 6 individual events. Tuesday, she added the 200 yard freestyle. Dylan Smith of the Tigers also qualified for state in the 100 yard backstroke, his second state qualifying event. Sierra Matthews, Rylee Moss, and Dylan Smith were the top event scorers for Adairsville with 12 points each. Jake Eberly, Katherine Sullivan, and Cicily Flores all scored 10 points. Other scorers for Adairsville included: Stephanie Corona, Daniel Sullivan, Felicia Miller, Johnathon Wilkes, Nathan Dahlberg, Lilli Kennedy, Madison McCommon, Destiny Adams, Alyssa Miller, Alexis Copple, Katie Schwan, Gillian Ballard, Chance Jones, Jason Bromby, Alexis Copple, and Dylan Coker.
Joseph Stoelzle won the boys 100 yard freestyle and Stella Gearhart won the girls 100 yard freestyle for Cass.
Adairsville will host the Tiger Plunge Saturday, Dec. 12 beginning at 10am.
