BASKETBALL
RYAN DAVIS -- Chattahoochee Tech CC (So., G, Cartersville HS) ... scored 25 points, collected six rebounds, with 10 assists and two steals in a Dec. 2 victory over East Georgia CC ... added nine points, five rebounds, ten assists, and three steals as the Golden Eagles topped West Georgia Tech 98-90 Dec. 6. CTCC will host Gadsden State CC Dec. 9 at 7:30pm and plays at Central Georgia Tech CC Dec. 12.
A.J. MOSBY -- Chattahoochee Tech CC (So., G, Cartersville HS) ... scored 12 points, pulled down four rebounds, with nine assists and three steals in a 90-79 win over East Georgia CC December 2. ... scored 25 points, recorded five rebounds, six assists and four steals in a Dec. 6 98-90 victory over West Georgia Tech. Mosby is averaging more than 18 points per game through 11 starts for the Golden Eagles. CTCC will host Gadsden State CC Dec. 9 at 7:30pm and plays at Central Georgia Tech CC Dec. 12.
COREY TOBIN -- Chattahoochee Tech CC (So., G, Cartersville HS) ... scored 15 points against East Georgia CC and 21 points vs. West Georgia Tech CC as the Golden Eagles won twice. Tobin also added three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in each of those contests. CTCC defeated East Georgia 90-79 and West Georgia Tech 98-90 to improve their season record to 10-1. Chattahoochee Tech will host Gadsden State CC Dec. 9 at 7:30pm and plays at Central Georgia Tech CC Dec. 12.
ASHLEY HUSKINS -- University of the Cumberlands (Fr., G/F, Cass HS) ... had a rebound and scored one point in a 61-59 loss at West Virginia Tech Fri., Dec. 5. She also saw action in an 84-78 overtime los to the NAIA's No. 22 team, Pikeville University Dec. 2. Cumberlands fell to 6-3 on the season and has a game Dec. 19 at Rio Grande (OH) University prior to the Christmas break.
EMMANUEL HOLLOWAY -- Al Hilal, Saudi Arabia; Asian Basketball (6-0, G, Woodland HS) ... beginning his seventh professional season, this time with the Saudi team. Last season, Holloway played for the Ravenna Lions in the Italian A-2 silver league. He has previous experience in Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Finland.
SWIMMING
MATTHEW SINIARD -- Berry College (Sr., Free/Fly sprints, Cartersville HS) ... was a member of Berry’s fifth place 4x200 yard freestyle relay team; member of the fifth place 4x50 yard freestyle relay team; was a member of the ninth place 4x100 freestyle relay team; eighth place 4x50 relay team; eighth place 4x100 relay team; finished 14th in the 200 yard freestyle; placed 24th in the 100 yard freestyle; and 19th in the 100 yard freestyle as the Vikings finished fourth of eight teams at the 11th annual Savannah College of Art and Design Invitational. Berry competes next at the Florida International University Invitational January 4 in North Miami Beach, FL and in Danville, KY at the Centre College Invitational.
