VOLLEYBALL

KATIE O’CONNOR — Western Carolina (MB, Soph., Cartersville HS) … had nine kills in 18 attempts with two digs and a block as the Catamounts won at East Tennessee State last Saturday. O'Connor added a block in a 3-0 loss at Wofford.

SOCCER

STEPHANIE HICKS — Agnes Scott College (Forward, Sr., Woodland HS) … took four shots, three on goal, in a 6-0 win over Judson last week.

EMILY MOORE — (photo) Charleston Southern University (Defender, Jr., Woodland HS) … was a midfield starter in both of the Lady Bucs' games last week. CSU fell to High Point 2-0, but edged Gardner-Webb 1-0.

CODY WEST — Duquesne University (Defender, R-Soph., Cass HS) … played 11 minutes for Duquesne in a 3-0 win over St. Bonaventure last Saturday.



CROSS COUNTRY

JAISON MORNING — Valdosta State University (Fr., Cass HS) ... was second on his team and 36th overall at the 2015 Gulf South Conference Championship in Danville, Alabama at the Oakville Indian Mounds Course last Saturday. The Blazers finished eighth at the conference meet.


SAVANNAH HARDIN — Young Harris College (Fr., Cass HS) … ran in the Peach Belt Conference Championship meet last Saturday in Gainesville, GA and was seventh on her team that placed fifth in the conference. Hardin was 65th overall in 26:32.7.


ROGER HERRERA — Reinhardt University (Jr., Cartersville HS) … finished 85th last Saturday with a time of 28:00.52 in the Sand Shark Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort. He was second on his team which was 15th of 31 schools.


VICTORIA HICKOM — Georgia Southwestern State University (Soph., Cartersville HS) … ran fourth for her team and 61st overall for the Lady Canes at the 2015 Peach Belt Conference Championship in Gainesville, GA last Saturday. Georgia Southwestern State finished 10th of 12 teams at the conference meet.
