Woodland falls to Kell in region softball tourney opener

The Woodland Lady Cats softball team lost its opener in the 2015 Region 7AAAAA tournament to the Kell Longhorns Thursday evening at Forsyth Central High School.

Woodland pitcher, Lily Watson, allowed only one earned run on seven hits and a pair of walks in the circle with three strikeouts. The Wildcats’ offense, however, could not come up with the needed run support.
