Cartersville volleyball sweeps Murray, Cass

The Cartersville Lady Canes volleyball team defeated both Murray County and Cass in straight sets Thursday night in non-region matches at Cartersville. The Lady Canes swept Murray County 25-8, 25-13 and beat Cass 25-15, 25-10 to improve to 15-13 on the season.

Cartersville travels to Southeast Whitfield Tuesday to face Pickens and host Southeast Whitfield.

Cass travels to Dalton on Tuesday.
