Maxwell ratings projects multiple playoff teams for local high school football

The latest edition of the Maxwell ratings playoff predictor has three local high school teams projected to make the GHSA state playoffs in their respective classifications. The projections have Cartersville as a No. 1 seed in Class AAAA. Adairsville is projected as a No. 2 seed in Class AAA, and Cass is currently projected as a No. 3 seed in Class AAAAA.

The projections utilize the Maxwell ratings formula that is calculated using variables including history/tradition, current season results, past season results, opponents' results, and strength of schedule.
