Beasley, Falcons come out on top in opener
Former Adairsville High School standout and Clemson University All-American, Vic Beasley, Jr., had three tackles and was credited with one pass break up and one quarterback hit in the Atlanta Falcons season opener Friday night.
The Falcons held off the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24 for a victory in Beasley's NFL debut. It was also the first game for new Falcons' head coach Dan Quinn.
Beasley, the eighth overall pick in the draft, told reporters after the game he learned a few things.
