Lady Wildcats defeat Cass, 8-1

Coach Colman Roberts' Woodland Lady Wildcats softball team picked up its initial win of the 2015 season Thursday night with an 8-1 home victory over Cass. Lilly Jordan tossed a complete game in the circle for the Wildcats. She scattered four hits and struck out five. Courtney Godfrey homered and had 3RBI to lead the Woodland offense. The Lady Wildcats improved to 1-3 on the year. Cass, still looking for their first win, fell to 0-3.
