Seigler named MVP, leads East Cobb Astros to 15u WWBA National title

Cartersville High School rising sophomore, Anthony Seigler, was named tournament MVP as he led the East Cobb Astros to the 2015 15u World Wood Bat Association National Championship.

Seigler, an ambidextrous pitcher, threw four innings in the national semifinals and was the starting pitcher in the championship game. In all, he tossed 14 scoreless innings in the tournament and totaled 11 strikeouts.

Seigler finished the tournament with a .414 batting average that included a homerun, nine RBI, and six runs scored.
