Richard Samuel Football Camp hosted by BCRD at Hamilton Crossing Park

Aspiring young football players in the Cartersville-Bartow County area get a chance next week to work on their skills at a camp led by former University of Georgia standout, Richard Samuel. Samuel was an offensive and defensive two-way player at both Cass High School and with the UGA Bulldogs. During his collegiate career, Samuel saw time as both a running back and a linebacker for the 'Dawgs.

Campers may register online at www.bartowcountyparksandrec.org. The cost is $75 for the camp, which runs from Thursday through Saturday, July 23-25. The camp is hosted by the Bartow County Recreation Department at Hamilton Crossing Park. It is for ages 8-12 from 9:30am until noon each day. For more information, call 770-387-5149.
