Cartersville Rec Department continues with plenty of summer activities

As we move deeper into July, the City of Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department still has plenty of summer activities continuing. The fourth summer session of Swim Lessons are available July 20-30 (2 weeks, Mon-Thur) at 5:30pm or 6:30pm. The lessons are for ages 6 month to adult and the cost is $50.

A junior lifeguard training camp for ages 11-15 is July 21-31. The camp teaches everything you need to know about being a lifeguard. Red Cross CPR and first aid are included. The cost is $100 and registration is available online at cityofcartersville.org or call 770-387-5626 The public pools at Dellinger Park and Aubrey Street remain open through August 2 and the pool at Dellinger Park will be open on weekends through Labor Day.

Developmental tennis camps for players age 4 to 15 continue in July. Register online at cityofcartersville.org or call 770-387-5628.

A developmental gymnastics and tumbling camp is available for ages 6 and up. The camp is July 13-17. For more information call 770-387-5629 or register online at cityofcartersville.org.

Football and cheerleader registrations for the Fall 2015 season begin July 27. Information and registration are available online at cityofcartersville.org.
