Huge volleyball event this weekend at LakePoint

The largest volleyball festival in Georgia will be played this weekend at LakePoint in Emerson. An outdoor event, The 5th annual Angry Dragon Volleyball Dragon Slayer is played on the multipurpose sports turf fields.

Players from all across the country will be competing Friday (June 12) through Sunday in multiple divisions including: Regular Doubles ( Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s A, Women’s A, Men’s BB, Women’s BB, Men’s Masters (40+), Women’s Masters (40+), Girl’s 18U, Girl’s 16U, Girl’s 14U, and Regular Coed 4s.

Also on Sunday, the USAV Junior Beach Tour returns to the Rally Volleyball sand venue at LakePoint. Players in 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U division will compete in a qualifier for the USA Jr. Beach Tour Championship in Virginia Beach at the end of July.
