WWBA Memorial Day baseball tourneys continue
The World Wood Bat Association's Memorial Day at LakePoint Tournaments wrap up pool play and move into championship bracket play Sunday (May 24) in all three age divisions. Perfect Game Park South at LakePoint in Emerson and other local fields, including Cass High School in White and the Cartersville Baseball Complex and Richard Bell Field in ATCO are hosting more than 110 teams during the holiday weekend. All three age divisions -- 14U, 16U, and 18U -- will play tournament semifinal rounds Monday morning (most beginning at 8am) at PG Park South at LakePoint with championship games to follow.
