Fields wins state title

Spencer Fields of Kingston won his second GHSA Class AA state title at the 2015 State Track & Field Championships in Jefferson last week. The Darlington School senior won the 3200-meter run with a time of 9:39.32. Fields was also a member of the Tigers' Class AA state champion cross country team back in November. He now holds the Darlington School records for both the 5K and 3200-meter. Fields is the son of Drs. Katy and Jayson Fields of Kingston. He will be attending Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
